Montenegrin Employers Federation (UPCG) and the Institute of Internal Auditors of Montenegro (IIA Montenegro) on September 06th 2012 have signed the Memorandum of Understanding. Memorandum was signed by Budimir Raickovic, vice-president of UPCG and Dr Slavko Rakocevic, PhD, Chairman of the Management Board of the IIA Montenegro.

The signing of the Memorandum between UPCG and the IIA Montenegro also honored Mr. Richard F. Chambers, president and the CEO of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Inc (the IIA) and the President European Confederation of  Directors Associations (ECODA) Mr. Patrick Zurstrassen, as well as Mr. Denis Kovacevic, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the IIA Montenegro, which also attended the meeting following the signature of the Memorandum.



Based on the Memorandum, UPCG and the IIA Montenegro will implement a number of joint  activities in the future, that will aim to affirmation of the promotion and development of internal auditing profession, including exchange of knowledge and information, implementation of joint projects, establishing cooperation with international organizations, organizing different types of education - seminars, workshops, round tables and conferences (national and international), as well as cooperation for the purpose of translation of international standards, codes of ethics and other material relevant for internal auditing.

During this event organized in UPCG premises the signees have agreed to activities with a common goal of aligning the Program of Certification of Internal Auditors to the greatest possible extent with corresponding programs of Institutes of Internal Auditors from EU counties, IIA Global Members and Members of ECIIA Brussels.
